Chief Executive Officer of Liranz, Mr. Nicholas Bortey, participated in the Africa Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) 2026 in Polokwane, South Africa, where he served as a member of the Forum’s Advisory & Awards Committee.
The Africa Tourism Leadership Forum brings together tourism leaders, policymakers, business executives, entrepreneurs and innovators from across the continent to advance dialogue, collaboration and sustainable development within Africa’s tourism ecosystem.
Nicholas Bortey’s participation builds on his longstanding engagement with initiatives supporting tourism innovation, entrepreneurship and youth development across Africa. Over the years, he has been involved with the African Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit & Challenge, serving as an adjudicator and contributing to the evaluation and recognition of innovative ideas from young entrepreneurs in the tourism sector. With more than two decades of experience in information technology, business consulting and entrepreneurship, Nicholas Bortey is an Information Technology Strategist, Business Consultant and the Chief Executive Officer of Liranz, a Ghana-based IT consulting, managed IT services and digital transformation company. His professional work focuses on leveraging technology and strategic innovation to help organisations improve operations, strengthen capabilities and pursue sustainable growth.
