Liranz Limited performs IT Audit for Charity Educational Services.

This Client works in partnership with two linked educational charities, registered in the UK and Ghana. The company is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales No. 1105489 and responsible for securing and disbursing project funds, activity and financial reporting, and strategic direction.

They are also responsible for delivering project activities, including monitoring and evaluation, and for providing regular progress and finance reports. It is registered in Ghana with the Department of Social Welfare as a NGO-DSW/4852.

Information Technology Challenge

The scope of the challenge involved adequately understanding the current state of Information Technology with our client and assessing the management control framework that ensures that IT functions efficiently and effectively. Liranz was tasked to examine all aspects of IT services, operational activities, technological functions, and the appropriateness, efficiency and effectiveness of each one.

Resolution Approach

In order to produce exceptional reports from the IT Audit, Liranz employed industry standard audit methodologies, namely the Control Objectives for Information Technology (COBIT) and the Infrastructure Library for Information Technology (ITIL) in conjunction with a series of inspections and enquiries. The results of the audit were submitted to the client in a well-documented report that captures every aspect of the client’s IT Governance and Leadership, Infrastructure and End User Support, IT Security, Digital Presence as well as their Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery policies and procedures
