Liranz Performed IT Audit and developed IT Transformation and Vision plan for a client in the oil and gas service company.

Our client is an upstream Oil and Gas service company, whose vision is to become a leading service provider with an impeccable record of excellence and efficiency in oil and gas service delivery to all their consumers in Ghana and West Africa.

Their goal is to provide offshore, onshore and near shore oil and gas services to E & P, drilling contractors and production companies in Ghana and West Africa. An intrinsic part of their business philosophy across their product and service offerings is to be constantly environmentally- responsible and to continue to improve performance across all environmental issues wherever possible.

Information Technology Challenge

Although the client already has an existing IT department that provides IT services to support its business operations, their management wanted to assess the readiness of their IT systems for compliance with IT regulatory requirements for the efficacy of the company’s Digital Assets, IT planning and implementation.

They also wanted to check the internal control procedures of the information system in obtaining reliable and accurate information from the systems to ensure confidentiality and integrity.
Since the department supports critical and proprietary assets that are vital to the continuity of daily operations of the business. The security and reliability of IT department and its operations are among the Client’s top priorities.
